Major Updates

Automatic Progression System

Every workout automatically increases weight when you hit your rep ranges. No manual calculations. No guessing. The system tracks your performance and makes progression decisions for you.

Training to Near Failure

Built-in rep ranges ensure you train close enough to failure (1-3 reps before complete failure) to create real growth stimulus. No configuration needed. Just train hard and let the system handle progression.

Pre-Built Training Programs

Four training splits: Full Body Beginner, Full Body Intermediate, Upper/Lower 3 Day, and Upper/Lower 4 Day. Each shows recommendations based on your experience level. Balanced volume, reasonable frequency, and compound movements prioritized.

iOS Rest Timer Widgets

Rest timer appears in Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro and newer. Add lock screen widgets for inline, circular, or rectangular formats. Timer continues running when app is minimized or phone is locked. Plays completion sound with haptic feedback even in silent mode.

Exercise Library with Form Cues

Over 300 exercises organized by movement pattern (Squat, Hinge, Push, Pull, Carry) with color-coded equipment chips. Every exercise includes detailed form cues with step-by-step setup, execution, and key technique points.

Rep Range Weight Tracking

Exercise weights tracked separately by rep range. Use different weights for 4-6 reps vs 8-10 reps. System automatically loads the correct weight for each exercise's rep range. Progress carries across programs.

Plate Calculator & Machine Setup

Visual breakdown of plate loading for barbell and plate-loaded machine exercises. Guided 3-step setup for plate-loaded machines to configure base weight and weight display (total vs per arm). Settings saved for all future workouts.

Workout History & Recap

View all completed workouts with exercise names directly on cards. Tap any workout to see full details matching your workout session UI. Post-workout recap shows progression results with visual indicators for weight increases.

Simplified Program Building

Streamlined onboarding: Experience level → Split selection → Program review → How to train. Swap exercises directly from program pages without navigating to separate screens. Changes save immediately.

Minor Updates

Global Rest Timer

Rest timer persists app-wide and appears in the app bar on all screens. Timer automatically starts after logging a set and continues running when you navigate away. Click timer to return to active workout.

Screenshot Sharing

Share screenshots of your program, current workout, workout recap, or workout history. Full-page capture with native share sheet integration.

Clear Weight Type Indicators

Weight display shows context: "45 lbs (each side)", "45 lbs (each dumbbell)", "Bodyweight", or total weight. Automatic detection from exercise metadata for better clarity.

Weight Entry Validation

Weight entry properly validates for all equipment types. Pullups allow 0 lbs (bodyweight), barbells enforce 45 lbs minimum, and machines respect base weight settings.

Haptic Feedback & Animations

Satisfying haptic feedback for program completion, set logging, and workout completion. Set logging animation feels instant with immediate UI updates.

Floating Glass Navigation

Bottom navigation uses a modern frosted glass effect that floats above content. Semi-transparent with backdrop blur for a premium feel.

Performance Optimizations

App is 3-5x faster. Dashboard loads in 150-250ms, workout sessions load 2-3x faster. Set logging feels instant with immediate UI updates and optimistic updates.
